From Milan: take the ‘Autostrada del Sole’ /A1 in the direction of Bologna then take the A14 (Bologna – Taranto) towards Ancona and finally take the branch for Ravenna.
On leaving the motorway continue towards Ravenna and follow the signs for Venezia/ Lidi Nord as far as the S.S.309 (Romea state highway Venice/Ravenna), continue northward, on arriving at the turnoff for Marina Romea /Porto Corsini turn right (Via delle Valli). At the end of the road turn left, cross the bridge over the Lamone river and we are located on the right 100 m further on.
From Venice:
Take the S.S. 309 (Romea state highway) for about 130 km towards Ravenna and on arrival at the Marina Romea / Porto Corsini turnoff, turn left (Via delle Valli). At the end of the road turn left, cross the bridge over the Lamone river and we are located on the right 100 m further on.
From Rome:
Take the E 45 highway to Ravenna then take the S.S.16 Adriatica towards Venezia/ Lidi Nord.
Follow the signs for Venezia/ Lidi Nord. Take the S.S.309 as far as the turnoff for Marina Romea /Porto Corsini where you turn right into Via delle Valli. At the end of the road turn left, cross the bridge over the Lamone river and we are located on the right 100 m further on.
By train:
On arrival at Ravenna railway station take the n° 90 bus and get off at the Campeggio Romea bus stop. |

Casalborsetti: an ancient fishing village, owes its name to the ‘Casello’, a place of rest and refuge for the coastguard, given to the care of the financier Giovanni Borsetti who did cobbling in his spare time, an activity continued also when retired. His hammer is kept in his restored home in memory of the financier-cobbler.
